	miira ni naru made otomo yoshihide shimada masahiko german version shimada masahiko, einer von japans bekanntesten novellisten, schrieb seine kurzgeschichte miira ni narumade in tagebuchform, basierend auf dem tatsächlich gefundenen tagebuch eines mannes der selb stmord durch verhungern verübt hat. otomo yoshihides komposition verbindet musik und dramatischen monolog. seit seiner urauffrührung im jahr 1994 wurde das stück schon mehrmals aufgeführt, immer m it verschiedenen musikerInnen. die performance entwickelt sich durch die improvisation der musikerInnen, die in der beziehung zum text zwischen drei elementen springt. einerseits otomos dirigieren, die einfachen anweisungen auf notenzetteln und das voranschreiten der zeit im tagebuch. dies war die erste aufführung von miira ni narumade ausserhalb japans und wurde eigens hierfür übersetzt. shimada masahiko, one of japans best known novelists, wrote his short story miira na naru made in the form of a diary, based on an actual diary of a man who committed suicide through starvation. otomo yoshihides piece combines music and dramatic monologue. since its premiere in 1994 the piece has been shown a few times, always in collaboration with different mu sicians. the performance develops through the musical improvisation which in its relation to the text jumps between three elements: on the one hand otomos' conducting, but also the simple commands written on music-paper and the advancing of time in the diary. this was the first performance of miira ni narumade outside japan and was translated especially for this occasion. miira ni naru made (bis ich zur mumie werde) fritz ostermayer (recitation) yagi michiyo (koto) andrea neumann (inside piano) sugimoto taku (guitar) ishikawa ko (sho) günter muller (selected drums,electronics) sachiko m.
